Flume can now integrate with Google Home Assistant!

To set up your Google Assistant, first download the Google Assistant App:
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/google-home/id680819774
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.chromecast.app&hl=en_US&gl=US

Account Linking

  1. After you’ve downloaded the app, locate the "Settings" button.

  2. Scroll down to the bottom to find the “Works with Google” option. Search for “Flume Water”. The Flume logo will be the icon. Clicking on it should direct you to our login page.

  3. Log in to the account you use to log into your Flume app with. You will then be asked to authorize your account.

  4. After authorizing, you’ll be asked to select what room or part of the house the Flume is in. This part is optional.

  5. When you’re back at the main Google Assistant screen, click on the microphone button centered near the bottom. You may be prompted to grant Google Assistant access to your microphone.

  6. You're all set! Try out any of the commands below.

Commands

Here are some examples of what you can ask your Google Assistant:

  1. “What is my Flume’s battery level?”

  2. “Is my Flume detecting a leak?”

  3. “Set my Flume to away mode.”

  4. “Turn off away mode.”
