If you'd like to compare your Flume-reported water usage to the usage reported by your water meter, you can use Flume's meter accuracy tool.

  • Before starting your Flume accuracy check, take two photos of your water meter at least 24 or more hours apart. Make sure the face of your water meter is clear and the numbers or dial are visible.

  • Log in to your portal at portal.flumewater.com.

  • Next, click on the 3 bars in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.

  • Select "settings".

  • Select "Meter Accuracy Check". You should see the following message:

  • Select "Begin Accuracy Test", the image below will appear:

  • Enter the information from the first picture, including the number that your meter reads, the units (gallons or cubic feet) that your meter reports in, and the date and time the picture of your meter was taken, then follow the same steps for the second picture.

  • The accuracy tool will then compare your Flume-reported usage to the usage reported in the pictures you uploaded, and let you know if the two match.
